Registration is $95.00. The registration fee covers the overall cost associated with running primary recruitment including but not limited to our recruitment management software, merchandise, including t-shirts, refreshments, and use of the Student Union, etc. that will be incurred during the process.
How much does sorority recruitment cost and where does the money go?

Can women who are not freshmen go through sorority recruitment?
Absolutely! Sororities accept women of all academic class standings. Our Sorority community has a lot to offer to all college women. There is no reason for you to miss out on this experience because you aren’t a freshman.

There is no one sorority that is “best” to join, because each organization offers its own unique experience, opportunities, and path for personal and leadership development. The better question is what you are hoping to find in a sorority and how that aligns with what each chapter has to offer. The best way to explore that is by participating in either Panhellenic Primary Recruitment or Continuous Open Bidding, depending on which process best fits your needs and goals. We encourage all potential new members to keep an open mind throughout the process. That mindset gives you the best chance to find the chapter that truly feels like home.

What can joining the Fraternity & Sorority community do for me?

Fraternity and Sorority membership can offer much more than joining an organization. It can connect you to a community of women who often become a meaningful source of friendship, support, and belonging throughout your college experience. Members have opportunities to grow as leaders, give back through service and philanthropy, and pursue academic excellence while being supported by both their chapter and the broader community. It is also a space where women can build confidence, strengthen their values, and celebrate womanhood through connection, involvement, and shared purpose.
Does everyone get a Bid?

Not everyone will receive a bid through primary recruitment, because the process is based on mutual selection between potential new members and chapters. A participant’s choices at the preference stage can also affect whether they are matched, especially if they choose to limit their options. If someone does not receive a bid at the end of primary recruitment, they may still be immediately eligible for Continuous Open Bidding, if chapters have openings. We encourage participants to stay open-minded, ask questions, and fully engage in the process so they can make the most informed decision for themselves.

What if I have class and have to miss a Recruitment event?
Class is the only excuse for missing a recruitment event. We will allow you to submit your class schedule and work around it!
