Letter from Chapter President
"Serving as President of Sigma Kappa here at FAU has truly been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience. When I first joined Sigma Kappa, I was looking for a place where I felt supported and connected but I found so much more than that. I found a sisterhood that has shaped who I am today. Moving across the country from Washington to Florida was a huge transition for me but my sisters in Sigma Kappa truly made FAU feel like home.
The love and genuine care within this chapter is something really something special. Every single one of my sisters brings something unique, and together we’ve created an environment that is not only fun and welcoming, but also empowering. Whether it’s chapter events, or just the little everyday moments, these are the memories I’ll carry with me long after graduation. Not only will I carry these memories with me but also the long lasting friendships I’ve made within Sigma Kappa.
What makes this sisterhood so impactful is how easily everyone is embraced. From the moment someone walks in, they are met with kindness, laughter, and open arms. That sense of belonging is something I'll never take for granted and it’s what makes Sigma Kappa feel like home.
I’m so grateful to lead such an incredible group of women who continuously uplift and inspire each other. Sigma Kappa has made my college years unforgettable, and I’m so proud of the bond we all share and the environment we created. I can’t wait for Sigma Kappa to grow with women who have the same shared values of friendship, service, personal growth, and loyalty."
With so much love,
Faith Anderson
