"Hi! My name is Christina Capozzi, and I am so honored to serve as the President of the Kappa Rho chapter of Phi Mu. Since its founding in 1852, Phi Mu has built a legacy rooted in sisterhood, leadership, service, and lifelong friendship. Guided by our values of Love, Honor, and Truth, Phi Mu continues to inspire women to lead with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Being part of an organization with such a rich history and strong tradition is incredibly special, and I am proud to represent a chapter that lives out these values each and every day.

 

When I came to college, I decided to go through recruitment because I was looking for a place to belong, opportunities to grow, and friendships that would last far beyond my college years. Throughout the recruitment process, I was searching for a chapter where I felt genuinely comfortable, supported, and inspired to become the best version of myself. From the moment I met the women of Phi Mu, I felt a true sense of kindness, authenticity, and connection that made it feel like home. Since joining, Phi Mu has helped me grow tremendously as a person by building my confidence, encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone, and pushing me to trust in my abilities. It has shaped me into a stronger leader, a better friend, and someone who is constantly striving to become the best version of myself.

 

What makes Kappa Rho so special is the people and the environment they have created together. It is a chapter filled with women who support one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and always show up when it matters most. There is a strong sense of pride in being part of Kappa Rho, and it shows in the way members uplift one another in every part of their lives. The friendships I have built here are some of the most meaningful relationships in my life, and I know they will continue long after college.

 

Phi Mu is also deeply committed to serving others through our philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, where we work to raise funds and awareness to support children and families in need. Being able to come together as a chapter to give back to such an important cause is something that continually inspires me and reminds me of the impact we can make beyond our own community.

Serving as President of the Kappa Rho chapter has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life because it has allowed me to give back to the chapter that has given so much to me. My goal has always been to create an environment where every member feels welcomed, supported, and proud to call Phi Mu home. I have worked to strengthen our sense of sisterhood, encourage confidence in our members, and help lead our chapter toward continued growth and success. Watching women step into leadership roles, build friendships, and thrive within our chapter has been the most meaningful part of my experience.

 

Phi Mu is more than just an organization, it is a home away from home. Whether you are looking for lifelong friendships, personal growth, or a place to belong, Phi Mu offers a community that will support you every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful to represent the Kappa Rho chapter and cannot wait to welcome future members into the sisterhood that makes Phi Mu so special."
