I can truly say that becoming a Panhellenic woman has changed my life. Panhellenic as a whole, and specifically Alpha Delta Pi, has welcomed me to a community that challenges me, supports me, and inspires me every day. 

My name is Ivy Scattergood, and I am honored to serve as Chapter President of the Theta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Florida Atlantic University. 

To me, Panhellenic is so much more than the letters we wear. It is a network of strong, driven women who uplift one another and push each other to grow in their academic careers, personal lives, and beyond. Within that community, Alpha Delta Pi has given me a place to call home. It is where I have found genuine friendships, unwavering support, and the confidence to become the best version of myself. As a freshman student from Pennsylvania, I would have never guessed the women of Panhellenic, Alpha Delta Pi included, would have given me not only a family away from home but also the strength and encouragement to pursue this position in this chapter. Alpha Delta Pi is rooted in values of character, service, knowledge, and lifelong sisterhood, and we strive to carry those values not only within our chapter, but throughout the entire Panhellenic community. 

As you go through recruitment, trust yourself and embrace the process. There is a place for you within Panhellenic, and I hope you find a home that makes you feel confident, supported, and truly yourself just as I have. 

I am so proud to represent Alpha Delta Pi and to stand alongside women who inspire me daily.
